Denver Trip

We just returned from a wonderful week in Denver. I surprised Seth with a trip there for his birthday. We had a blast!! Here are some pictures of the places we visited...

We found this authentic Russian store in WinterPark. Angelina is from Moscow and travels back to Russia once a year to bring a bunch of stuff back. I stocked up on a lot of the food that I ate in the mission. Yummy!

I need to make it known that this trip represents the greatest Birthday I've ever had!
Carrie was so sweet to surprise me with this trip.
I had no idea where we were going, and it was absolutely fantastic to go home for 6 days.

So, in case you haven't heard it enough... Thank you so much Carrie! You're the best wife in the whole world.

I LOVE Colorado! We only passed through Denver this summer, but I think no matter where you are in Colorado, the scenery is fantastic. When we were in Estes Park we found a little Russian shop that sold Matryoshka dolls and bought one that was made in the Soviet era. Rob was thrilled to talk to the guy, although he wasn't from Russia, but just spends a lot of time there. And Seth, Carrie is so awesome- maybe I should take a page out of her book for Rob's birthday...

I like the picture of Carrie with the gun. It made me laugh out loud. I'm glad you got to see family, but we miss you guys when you're gone!

Cool trip! Love the photos. Isn't it fun that almost anywhere you go you can visit a temple! Love it!
