Conor, Savannah and Micah in their cute Halloween costumes. We went for a visit to Atlanta on Halloween weekend and dressed the kids up. Savannah's hat scared Conor a little bit, and this was the only picture where everyone was kind of looking at the camera.
Seth and our little turtle
We went to a museum here in Charlotte and Micah made some new friends. Here he is with a baby Bobcat. I don't think they quite knew what to make of each other.
Micah is definitely a little boy. He loved this snake!
We can't believe how big he is getting!
Micah with his new best friend Ryan. They are pretty cute together. We have had so much fun hanging out with Ryan and his wife Chelsea here in Charlotte. Seth and Ryan grew up together in Denver.
Micah loves his Grandma!
They have an annual Renaissance festival here and we decided to check it out. It was awesome! We had a blast and met a lot of really fun people.
Micah with the King and Queen of the Festival. He was having so much fun!
We had a Gandalf sighting and stopped him for a picture with Micah. : ) Micah couldn't take his eyes off of him.
A huge bonus of attending the festival were the Turkey Legs. Yummmmmmmmmmmm!
Micah made some friends
Seth and I had some fun at the Archery booths.
Seth rocked the Axe Throw and even won me a prize!
Savannah, Conor and Micah with Grandma in their matching outfits.
We wanted to take a family picture, but Micah was taking a nap so Seth and I got cozy for a picture of the two of us. I love my husband!
Aren't they cute??
Savannah is such a sweet little girl. She is so smart! She can tell you all you will ever want to know about the planets.
Lara, David and Conor
Micah was a Turtle for Halloween. We thought it was a cute idea because he is always crawling all over the place. I decided to try and make the costume myself. We were pretty happy with how it turned out. Not bad for a first time costume maker, right? : )
We took Micah to the Trunk or Treat at our adopted ward here in Charlotte. We had a great time and Micah was so cute in his turtle costume.
A view of the turtle from our perspective. So Cute!!

I had so many thoughts run through my head as I was looking at your pictures. I loved that costume you made. You will have to let me in on the secret of how to make it. I am impressed. I also had to laugh at your archery picture. It reminded me of your great talent of shooting targets. And My, how Micah is growing so big! Those are just a few of my thoughts. It is fun to see some updates
I LOVE the turtle costume! I think I'll need to see it in person... I can't believe that you actually made it! VERY impressive! I also love the pictures of the Renaissance Festival. I am glad it was so much fun! We love having you guys around to hang out with. You can stay forever in Charlotte!
I love this costume! So cute and very clever, I must say. And i am so jealous you went to the Renaissance Festival!!! We had one only a couple of miles from where I lived growing up and it was there every summer all summer and I loved going. I even planned on working there when I was old enough, but it closed down before then because of money. It was a sad day. I can't believe you guys are so close and haven't come up to Greensboro for church or something- everyone would LOVE to see you!
That is THE cutest costume I have ever seen! You did such a fantastic job! You should market the idea, I've never seen a turtle costume and it's just adorable! Thanks for sharing all the fun pictures, Micah is such a cutie! Hope you are all doing well. Good luck with the travels.
Aw!!! Micah is getting BIG! Well, hopefully you guys will find out where your next home will be soon. Although it sounds like you are having fun just hanging out! I loved the costume- you did FANTASTIC! I will definitely have to call you when we start our family..... I'll need ALOT of help! ;)
